Terms of Enrollment

The Free Drivers Ed Online course offered through Longhorn Driving School is provided to high school students in Texas as a community service. Longhorn Driving School is a Texas nonprofit corporation, exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and operates as a driver education school licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Additional driving services may be provided in cooperation with affiliated companies and/or contracted service providers.

By enrolling in this Free Online Drivers Ed service, the student, parent, and/or guardian, or any other responsible party in this transaction, agrees to all the terms and conditions stipulated herein.

This course must be completed within 6 months as a condition of the offering. Students who need additional time may request an extension, subject to a $10.00 service fee. After 6 months of enrollment, the student re-enrolls with Longhorn Driving School or continues the program with another TDLR licensed school.

If a disagreement arises after course completion and the parent, guardian, or student chooses not to pay for services that were agreed upon, Longhorn Driving School may, at its sole discretion, withhold the Certificate of Completion, remove the student from enrollment, and require the student to continue with another school.

Longhorn Driving School reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

All driver education certificates and Texas Department of Public Safety forms provided by the school are issued only once. If lost or stolen, a replacement requires a $20.00 research and processing fee.

Receiving Your Completion Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course, you are entitled to a FREE Texas Driver Education Certificate (Form DE-964). Present this certificate at a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) driver license office when you apply for your learner license and take the knowledge exam, together with Form DL-14A, Application for Texas Driver License, which DPS provides. You must contact our office to advise us of your preferred delivery method.

Longhorn Driving School will make every effort to prepare your Certificate of Completion as quickly as possible, and reports your completion to the TDLR driver education certificate system within the period the agency requires. If you schedule a pick-up appointment, please allow up to 72 hours for preparation. All pick-up appointments are scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Mail option: We will mail your Certificate of Completion for a handling fee of $10.00, payable in advance. Payment may be made via VISA, Mastercard, or PayPal, by telephone or online at longhorndrivingschool.com using your student login credentials.

Payment and Fees

All fees are non-negotiable unless prior arrangements have been made with management. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS BY CHECK. NO EXCEPTIONS.

All payments must be made payable to “Longhorn Driving School” exclusively. All legal and collection fees incurred in the event of a dispute will be charged to the student’s account and to any other responsible party. The cost of services is subject to change without notice.

Website Policy

All users of the Longhorn Driving School website agree to the following terms. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON.

This Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) contains the complete terms and conditions that govern your use of services provided by Longhorn Driving School. “Longhorn Driving School” refers to the service provider; “Client,” “you,” or “your” refers to you, the buyer.

By clicking “Submit” or signing any invoice issued by Longhorn Driving School, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to its terms and all policies posted on the site.

“Longhorn Driving School Site” refers to the site located at https://longhorndrivingschool.com or any successor sites owned or maintained by Longhorn Driving School.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from it will be resolved in the state courts of Texas.

Acknowledgment of Terms

By enrolling in any course or service offered by Longhorn Driving School, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions in this document. These terms are binding on the student, parent, guardian, and any other responsible party involved in this enrollment.
